The Colours of the Season
The choreography is a true amalgamation of three distinct dance forms that include Caribbean Folk Indian Classical and Contemporary. These dance forms have quite different body, hand and feet movements, gestures, posture and facial expressions. The choreography explores the various dance forms and attempts to fuse the “meaning” and “emotion” conveyed by them to be identical in nature.
Slave
This original poem was choreographed to reflect the pain and suffering of the people who were dragged away from their lands and to highlight the distress caused to them. An emphasis on the doleful voice of every African who was oppressed back in time.
Indian Rajasthani
Folk Dance
This choreography is a traditional Indian folk dance called “GHOMOOR” style.
God Glory
This choreography expressed the poem’s meaning through the body movement and feeling of nature through movement. This poem has written by renowned poet Ravindra Nath Tagore.
